Will Clear Body cancel Hammer Arm’s Speed drop?

WIll hammer arm on a metagross with he ability clear body lower its speed or will clear body cancel the stat drop? Just wondering for my lvl 99 has explosion but I want to replace it with something that won't KILL me when I use it.

no clear body only cancels enemy inflicted stat changes.

Hammer arm will still lower speed of the user.

Specifically, it's because clear body doesn't prevent self-inflicted stat drops.
