Is it possible to specify Natures when transferring Pokemon from Crystal?

I'm speaking specifically about Celebi.

I want to use this thing in an actual team, which means EV training and the whole nine yards.

But I remembered that Natures aren't really a thing in the second generation.

Is there any way to force a specific Nature onto a Pokemon you're transferring over?

The last two digits of EXP. determine the nature of a Pokemon transferred.

Edit: IVs are the same as DVs, and all EVs are zero, because stat EXP. is completely different from EVs.
