What happens if I save my game when I’m in the ‘glitch realm’?

I’m talking about the coin case glitch where the game resets and I can still play it, but all the colors are messed up and there are pink blocks around the screen. Would the game get stuck in the glitch?

Maybe you can try it yourself in an emulator, there is no need to endanger your save.

I mean you can try, but there really isn't any point, saying that's your game is pretty much done.

Note: this is going by the logic that you didn't catch any corrupted Pokemon. If I'm correct the game should reset back to normal, the thing that caused the incident would be the reset so merely powering off the game and turning it back on after saving should reduce it back to it's normal state.
