PokéBase - Pokémon Q&A

I know there are a few games that put restrictions on HM moves, so I want to know which games and what restrictions. Please don't question my curiosity.

Edit: Don't answer using information from Bulbapedia. Different Bulbapedia articles say different things.

I deleted some HM moves from my Poliwrath in the pkmn Crystal VC.
According to Bulbapedia the only times you are unable to have Pokemon forget moves, is if it's the last move, or if trying to remove HM from the last user of that HM you own.

So it's entirely possible that you can't delete when you have 3 moves, and this would be because, it's the only Pokemon you have with a specific HM.

The restrictions I listed go for every Pokemon game so far.

Source: Below stated comment.
Tbh I'm surprised no one answered before me. The information I gave, was literally the first thing under the first section.
Wtf. Why is Bulbapedia contradicting itself. But I edited the answer so the problem is now fixed.
Now the article you originally sourced says you're wrong.
Majority rules. And the more sites are saying your sites are correct. Therefore we can logically assume your three sites are correct
They're all Bulbapedia, though. We're still only looking at 1 site.
Also I have successfully deleted rock smash from every Pokemon in one of my Emerald save files.
Did you read the description in my question?
Pokémon Gold/Pokémon Silver/Pokémon Crystal:
If the selected Pokémon only knows one move:
"That Pokémon knows only one move."

Pokémon Ruby/Pokémon Sapphire/Pokémon Emerald:
If the selected Pokémon only knows one move:
"<Pokémon> knows only one move so it can't be forgotten…"

In Emerald, if the move is Surf and the Pokémon is the last one that knows it:
"Hm! Your <Pokémon> doesn't seem willing to forget Surf.

Pokémon Fire Red/Pokémon Leaf Green:
If the selected Pokémon only knows one move:
"<Pokémon> seems to know only one move…".

Pokémon Colosseum:
If a Shadow Pokémon is selected:
"Hmmm... I'm sorry to disappoint you, but there's nothing that I can do for this Pokémon. Would you like me to make a different Pokémon forget a move or two?"

If the selected Pokémon only knows one move:
"<Nickname> seems to know only one move. Would you like me to make a different Pokémon forget a move or two?"

Pokémon XD: Game of Darkness:
If a Shadow Pokémon is selected:
"Hmm... I'm sorry, lad, but that Pokémon is too much for me to handle. Should I make a different Pokémon unlearn its moves?"

If the selected Pokémon only knows one move:
"Hmm... Your <nickname> seems to know only one move. I can't make it unlearn that. Should I make a different Pokémon unlearn its moves?

Pokémon Diamond/Pokémon Pearl/Pokémon Platinum/Pokémon HeartGold/Pokémon SoulSilver:
If the selected Pokémon only knows one move:
"That Pokémon knows only one move, so it can't be forgotten..." (Returns to Pokémon selection screen.)

Pokémon Black/Pokémon White/Pokémon Black 2/Pokémon White 2:
If the selected Pokémon only knows one move:
"That Pokémon knows only one move, so it can't be forgotten..." (Returns to Pokémon selection screen.)

Pokémon X/Pokémon Y:
If the selected Pokémon only knows one move:
"That Pokémon knows only one move, so it can't be forgotten..." (Returns to "Which Pokémon [...]?")

Pokémon Omega Ruby/Pokémon Alpha Sapphire:
If an Egg is selected:
"Hrmmp? I'm fairly certain that, um, Egg doesn't know any moves."

If the selected Pokémon only knows one move:
"Um, that Pokémon only knows one move. Hrmmp, I can't make it forget its only move..."

Pokémon Sun/Pokémon Moon/Pokémon Ultra Sun/Pokémon Ultra Moon:
If the selected Pokémon only knows one move:
"What's that, friend? That Pokémon only knows one move, you know?"

Pokémon Let's Go, Pikachu/Pokémon Let's Go, Eevee:
This part cannot be answered yet because (for some reason) no one has a list of the dialogue for the Move Deleter.
What part of "don't source Bulbapedia in your answer" do you not understand?
But... That is my actual source.
By "don't source Bulbapedia in your answer," sUMWun means "don't get your information from Bulbapedia" and not "you can get the information from Bulbapedia, but don't link it in your answer"
Now that you probably have no way to verify your answer, I'll probably ask you to hide it.
@sumwun, :( (filller).

@Hellfire Taco, if my information can't be from bulbapedia then, this is unanswerable.
The real problem is that different Bulbapedia articles say different things, so I don't know which ones to trust. The question is still answerable; it just requires some research.
I did research to answer this question and all I found was Bulbapedia :/
You could A) Check every game yourself, B) find other people to do so/who did it, or C) Find a better source (preferably supported by some sort of evidence). :P
If all you found was Bulbapedia, then don't answer this question.
@Stakatacool, I can't do A, how would I contact someone with every single game for option B? I don't think there are better sources.

@sumwun, since you are the asker, I will get rid of my answer.
Thanks I guess.
You're welcome, I guess.

As far as I’ve played, no, there are no moves that the move deleter cannot delete.
But, in Pokémon emerald, the move deleter will refuse deleting the move Surf, when no one else in the team knows it. But as soon as you teach another Pokémon Surf, he will readily delete one of the two.

So he can delete any move in every game except Emerald?
That’s right.
