That means it has been transfered from another "world" to yours. ( A game based in Hoenn to whatever game you're playing.)
Any Pokemon with that message was originally obtained in Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire/Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald, which were then transferred to Sun/Moon/Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon
