Do you have money for a 2DS (without the XL)? You could do all kinds of things if ya do.

You can either use PokeBank to move Pokémon from one game to another, or you can use the GTS by offering something of low value for a Pokémon you want to move to that game, switching to the game that Pokémon is in, and sending it to the other game like that.
