Can I transfer Pokemon so I can use them on a new game?

I bought a used game from someone on Amazon and they have tons of Pokemon of different types and they would be amazing to have to play the game with but they already have 8 badges. I was wondering if there was a way I could transfer the Pokemon they left on the game somewhere so I could keep them for a new game. The game is black 2 and I only have a dsi

Black 2 as well, but I wanted to make a new game since they basically completed the whole game already but they have pages and pages of useful Pokemon saved in the storage system and I was wondering if there is any way that I could transfer them to where I don't lose them when I start a new game

The only ways I know to do this are trade all of them to another copy of BW or BW2 or transfer them to Pokemon Bank.

The problem is that I don't know how to do them. I never played any Generation 5 games. I just know those things exist because other people on the Internet told me.

If you only have the DSI you are out of luck :(. You need a 3DS to use Pokémon Bank. So you might want to wait to restart the cartridge.

Yes. You'd need another DS and another Gen V game, though. If you know somebody who has both, then you could borrow them. You could trade the Pokemon you wanted to use on the new save file to the other game card and store them on there until you've progressed to the point where you're able to trade on your new save file, then trade those Pokemon from the old save file back.
