If you trade a shiny Kantonian form of a Pokemon for the Alolan variant, will the Alolan variant be shiny?

For example, I trade a shiny Kantonian Sandshrew for an Alolan Sandshrew, will that be shiny?

Do you really mean trade? Because trading Pokemon has no bearing on whether it is shiny or not. Are you asking if you evolve a Kantonian Pokemon into it's Alolan form, will it be shiny? Because if so then the answer is yes.

If you’re talking about the ingame trades, no. The ingame trades for Alolan variants in LGPE do, however, have a 1/4096 chance of being shiny, regardless of whether the Pokémon traded is shiny or not, so you can hunt them if you want.
