Can you gain EVs from hacked Pokemon?

I'm about to start another playthrough of Emerald. However I want to ev train my team before the elite four. Do hacked Pokemon yield EVs? For example, I want to max my Gardevoir's special attack, so I'm planning on making all the wild Pokemon into wild Mewtwos. Do these hacked wild Mewtwos give off special attack evs??

I would think that it depends on the hacking software you’re using and how it’s editing the game to get Mewtwos. But I’d imagine most hacking software would probably result in Mewtwo’s EV yield.

Completely depends on which codes, software you are using. That being said, most of the software would change the wild Pokemon to actually become Mewtwo which I guess would include its EV yield.

However hacking all Pokemon into mewtwo is a lot harder than straight up hacking in the EVs you need.
