Urshifu-Rapid-Strike @ Muscle Band / Life Orb
Ability: Unseen Fist
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Surging Strikes
- Drain Punch
- Bulk Up
- Iron Head / U-turn

This set is mainly for a set up sweeper, muscle band/life orb for more dmg, Adament for more dmg as well, and the ev spread is for max dmg, max spe, and a tiny bit more bulk, surging strikes for stab and to break subs as well as guaranteed crit, drain punch for stab and recovery, bulk up to set up, iron head for coverage or you turn for pivot

Gen 9 Monotype Swords Dance (Dark/Fighting)

Urshifu-Single Strike is more insane than last Gen, due to the addition of Swords Dance. This set is for Gen 9 Monotype while you can still use this set. Swords Dance boosts Urshifu's Attack by two stages, making it a scary Pokemon. Wicked Blow is used for Urshifu's spammable Dark STAB, being able to land a critical hit every time. Drain Punch lets Urshifu recover HP that is useful on Screens Dark, while Close Combat is used for a more powerful Fighting STAB. Sucker Punch is used for a Dark STAB that allows Urshifu to pick off faster Pokemon. The item depends on what you prefer. Punching Gloves sacrifices Urshifu's Wicked Blow and to an extent Drain Punch's ability to hit through protection in order to ignore contact punishing items/moves/abilities such as Baneful Bunker, Rocky Helmet, Flame Body, and Rough Skin. Black Glasses can be used to give Urshifu's Dark STABs a bit more power without any drawbacks.

A Swords Dance + Punching Glove set Urshifu-Rapid-Strike can use in Gen 9 Monotype. Swords Dance is a move Urshifu-Rapid-Strike gets that boosts its Attack by two stages, making it a scary wincon. Surging Strikes is used as Urshifu's Water STAB since it always crits and hits 3 times. With a new item called Punching Gloves that boosts the power of Punching moves while preventing punching moves from making contact, Surging Strikes becomes more dangerous since it can no longer activate things such as Rocky Helmet, Rough Skin, and Flame Body thanks to Punching Gloves. Drain Punch is used to give Urshifu-R some HP recovery and gets the benefits from Punching Glove. Close Combat can be used instead for a stronger Fighting STAB. Aqua Jet allows Urshifu-R to have a priority Water STAB that allows it to revenge kill faster Pokemon such as Flutter Mane and Iron Moth. Thunder Punch can be used instead to target Pokemon such as Toxapex, Gyarados, and Pelipper, Pokemon who resist Urshifu-R's STABs. Trailblaze can be an option for the last slot that hits Quagsire and Gastrodon super effectively as well as giving Urshifu-R a speed boost, but if you use this on a Rain team, then Trailblaze isn't really needed since Surging Strikes in Rain can 2HKO Quagsire and OHKO Specially Defensive Gastrodon.

Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spe / 4 Hp
Jolly Nature
- Tera Blast
- Wicked Blow
- Sucker Punch
- Bulk Up

Wicked Blow deals huge damage when combined with Black Glasses. Sucker Punch is secondary STAB for faster opponents. Bulk Up is basic set up and Tera Steel Tera Blast kills off any Fairy Types.
