Yes this is a rather silly question. I know Zacian and Zamazenta are apparently from cyan and magenta, but that’s literally all the name origins I could find, which seems lacking.

Do the Zs mean anything? I’m tempted to believe hey just added to make it sound cool lol. (I’ve also heard that the word “the” with a Japanese accent sounds like “zah” but I don’t know why that would be in their names.)

Does the P in Pikachu mean anything? I really don't think it's that deep
Pretty sure it's why it's Z specifically. The P in Pikachu comes from pika-pika, an actual word, but Zacian and Zamazenta only seen to be based off cyan and magenta respectively, neither of which contain a Z.
I’m talking about the name origins. Nothing in the origins for Zacian and Zamazenta have anything to do with anything with z. I’ll edit it
Yes, I too can search Pikachu's name origin myself. That wasn't really my point
What was your point?
Never mind that scuffle. I just want to know if Zacian and Zamazenta have further name origins that’s all
There is a Lockstin and Gnoggin video that seems to be as accurate as it can get examining their names. I hope you can get the information you want from here. https://youtu.be/xhffmUJpu0k
Funnily enough I’ve watched that video. It seems to have the same answer about the “za” thing
Oh well I don't know any other answers then

Zacian and Zamazenta come, specifically, from “the cyan” and “the magenta” (as human witnesses long ago would describe them by these traits). Because Japanese doesn’t include the “th” sound, it’s replaced with a similar equivalent when trying to pronounce loan-words in Japanese, in this case, “za.”

This was confirmed in an interview with Game Freak by Game Informer.

Thanks! If you can could you find the interview? If you can’t it’s fine
I saw the interview in a physical magazine and I can’t seem to find it online. If I do, I’ll be sure to link it.
