Can you use a charged TM to give a Pokemon an event move?

Question

For example in December when it's "community weekend", can I use a charged TM on my Metagross to give it Meteor Mash? This applies to all of the other community day Pokemon as well

Legacy and event-exclusive moves, such as Community Day moves (except during the first ever Community Day), cannot be learned this way.
