Scizor and Mega Scizor
Awesome Pokémon. Only one weakness in Fire, and lots of resistances. Access to Swords Dance and a Technician-Boosted-STAB-Boosted Bullet Punch is very helpful. Simply a very powerful Pokémon.

Scizor @ Scizorite / Life Orb

Ability: Technician
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Bullet Punch
- Swords Dance
- Roost
- Knock Off

Sky-high Special Attack, good Speed, and good Special Defense make this Pokémon great. Access to Quiver Dance, the awesome Fiery Dance, Bug Buzz, and good coverage in Psychic and Giga Drain make it a force to be reckoned with.

Volcarona @ Heavy-Duty Boots

Ability: Flame Body
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Quiver Dance
- Bug Buzz
- Fiery Dance
- Giga Drain

Mega Pinsir
Simply awesome attack, great speed, and the amazing ability in Aerialate makes this Pokémon amazing. It’s got Priority in Quick Attack, good STAB in Return, and access to Swords Dance make this Pokémon an amazing attacker.

Pinsir-Mega @ Pinsirite

Ability: Aerilate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature

Nice Bulk, Sticky Web access, and Water Bubble are amazing. Water Bubble DOUBLES it’s water attacks, making up for it’s low attack. Sticky Web slows down opposing Pokémon. Magic Coat can deflect Stealth Rocks and other status back to opponents. It’s got Liquidation as good STAB. It’s very helpful
Araquanid @ Leftovers

Ability: Water Bubble
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Liquidation
- Sticky Web
- Magic Coat
- Toxic
An awesome ability, high Attack, Defense, and HP, access to a good movepool with helpful moves like Toxic, Drain Punch, Leech Life, Bulk Up, and more, it can be a force to be reckoned with on offense and defense.
Buzzwole @ Leftovers

Ability: Beast Boost
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Bulk Up
- Drain Punch
- Leech Life
- Earthquake

I think Forretress is better than Araquanid and Buzzwole. Bug teams want stealth rock and rapid spin, so they benefit from a Pokemon that can use both.
Since you're going to be using Mega Pinsir, Scizorite shouldn't be an option. Another comment on Scizor is that X-Scissor is outclassed by Bug Bite due to Technician making it stronger and it having higher PP. However, Bug Bite shouldn't be used anyway, since the best set right now is probably bulky Swords Dance, with Roost replacing X-Scissor / Bug Bite. On Mega Pinsir, you should be using Close Combat over X-Scissor for its additional coverage, as without it you are walled by Steel types.
I never said they were to be used on the same team, the asker just asked for good bug types. @sumwun I answered for all the Pokémon that are S and A ranked in the tier.
