Besides the Galarian legendary birds, are there any legendary trios in galar? And if yes, what is the term used for it?

by
Maybe Calyrex, Spectrier, and Glacier. But I don't know if that is a trio.
No, I wouldn’t count it as a dupe.
Why not? The question I linked asks for the names of all of the trios, which is a list, and this one asks if there are any in Galar, which also asks for a list of the ones in Galar and what the name for it is.
It's not the same question, so it is not a duplicate. We don't remove questions just because another post has info that could potentially resolve it.
I found a trio while reading an article: Glastrier, Spectrier, Calyrex is the Crown Tundra trio.
Also, in the Pokemon Wiki, I found Zacian, Zamazenta, Eternatus to be the Combat trio.

Actually, Glastrier, Spectrier, and Clayrex are a trio bc Clayrex has a form that is combined with either one of them, but not both, and they are considered his/her steeds. Read Clayrex pokedex to find out.

You didn’t specify if you meant only Galar Trios, so I am going to list all the Trios/Duos/Quadruples(?) that you can find in Galar, except ones from the Max Raid Dens. (Except Necrozma)

Hero Duo

Sprite | Sprite

Zacian & Zamazenta
Location: Galar | Post-Game Story

Light Trio

Sprite | Sprite | Sprite

Solgaleo, Lunala, & Necrozma
Location: Crown Tundra | Old Lady’s House as Cosmog (Solgaleo/Lunala) Max Raid Den (Necrozma)

Swords of Justice

Sprite | Sprite | Sprite | Sprite

Cobalion, Terrakion, Virizion, & Keldeo
Location: Crown Tundra | Side Quest Sonia Asks of You

Galarian Legendary Birds

Sprite | Sprite | Sprite

Articuno, Moltres, & Zapdos
Location: Galar's Wild Area (Zapdos) Isle of Armor (Moltres) Crown Tundra (Articuno) | After you trigger them.

Notes:

  • Unlike SSuperpriority, I do not consider Gastier and Spectrier as a Duo, because in the the timeline that one exists, the other one does not. I also do not consider Calyrex as a duo with one of the horses, because they are two vaguely different Pokémon.

  • Eternatus is not possibly part of the Hero Trio, because it is on no way a Hero. Also, like Calyrex, is a very different Pokémon to the Hero Duo.

  • The two forms of Urshifu are not a Duo, because like SSuperpriority said, they are the same Pokémon.

Hope I helped!

Zapdos is specifically located in the Wild Area. To get Keldeo, you must have the other 3 Swords of Justice in your party. You then have to go to Dyna Tree Hill. You should see a small island with some orange footprints and a cooking pot. After interacting with the footprints, you have to cook a curry. Keldeo should spawn on the island after that.
Calyrex and its steeds are vaguely different? More like entirely different.
Yeah (filler)
Where did you get those GBA/DS sprites of the Light, Hero and the Galarian Legendary Birds Trio/Duo?
I uses the Showdown official Gen-5 Sprites. Here -> https://play.pokemonshowdown.com/sprites/gen5/

And then here is the shinies -> https://play.pokemonshowdown.com/sprites/gen5-shiny/

And here is just the complete index of Sprites. -> https://play.pokemonshowdown.com/sprites/
um, none are in gen 8 (numbers 810 to 898), except galarian forms. maybe there is none?
i thought every region had one

Kanto: Birds
Johto: Beasts
Hoenn: Weather
Sinnoh: Creation
Unova: Tao
Kalos: Aura
Alola: Light
So Galar?
I would assume the Galarian Birbs.
Alright, who removed their upvote?

I would say that Zacian, Zamazenta, and Eternatus make up a trio in the same way Solageo, Lunala, and Necrozma do.
I don't know if there's a specific term for those ones, but I call them the Metal Trio.

Think so.
Oh yeah.
I would say darkest day trio makes sense
Yeah. (Filler)
