Where can Gyarados be found in New Pokemon Snap?

in the old one, we see magikarp jum into a waterfall and turn into gyarados, I wacht in youtube but did not find it

Gyarados is actually not in the New Pokémon Snap, so it has no locations in the game.

Yes, but only in the DLC
Ever since the 2.0 update (also known as the DLC), Gyarados can be found in the new Mightywide River (Day) at levels 2 or higher. The way you are supposed to find it is by hitting a hidden Crystabloom behind the center of a waterfall with an Illumina Orb, and he should appear. However, it only exposes some parts of its body, so you can't really take a very good photo shot there, but Gyarados will pop out of the water near the ending of the course, where it will most likely reveal itself to the right of the ending zone, where you can take way better pictures of it.

Note: Gyarados will only appear in levels 2+ of the stage. It cannot pop up on level 1.
