I was comparing one of my mew promo 8s to my holo mew from 2016 when I noticed that the pokeball on the back of the mew promo 8s were a vibrant shade of red while my reverse holo mew had a bit of a orange tint. I originally thought this was because one of them was fake so I compared the pokeball colors to the ones on all my other cards and found that all my older card (including my first edition pikachu) and found all my newer cards had the orange tint while the older ones had the vibrant red color so can someone explain this?

It could just be wear. The 2016 card probably used to be the same vibrant red, but has faded slightly.

It's not, like said in the comments, it's just worn, I have my first Pokemon card from when I was like 7 or 8, and it still has a vibrant red pokeball.
Source: Having a card from that long ago, and it being normal.
