Should I use Masuda method or soft resetting in Emerald?

I playing in Pokémon Emerald and I want a starter pokémon, which as best the Masuda Method or the system of Softreset?

Masuda method was introduced in gen four which means it's not in Emerald. You'll have to reset until you get one

masuda method requires 2 Pokemon of diffrent languages like an jappanese version Pokemon and an USA version pokemn breeding is the masuda method which can only be done in the ds and switch so gen 1,2,3 don't have mesuda method even in the virtual console versions of gen 1 and 2
