Like, how there’s different species, Pokémon caught, etc. is there a slight hidden bonus if you catch a shiny vs not finding a shiny?

I feel like it would tell you in the list after you make your report
I think it should, too. I’m surprised it doesn’t. I’m thinking maybe it’s a hidden factor? I can’t imagine they’re worth nothing like idk imagine running into the wild and finding an albino for the first time.
Are there any other hidden factors
I have no idea. It seems to vary for me though, so I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s different weighted totals or something
I believe that if Game Freak wanted shiny Pokemon to have an extra money reward, it wouldn't be a hidden one. But considering PLA's sizable emphasis on shiny Pokemon, (Peculiar Ponyta, the guard literally telling you shinies are more common in mass outbreaks,) it does surprise me that there is no boost as far as we can see
I caught a shiny Roselia recently and when telling the Professor I'm sure it came up with a seperate header for 'Shiny Pokémon caught' like the Number of species obtained or New species obtained bits, so I think it very well could. We all just need to keep this question in mind if we find a new shiny cus I'm sure it does, we just need the proof.
You say "I'm sure"... Op has already gotten shiny Pokemon and looked for the header. It does not appear.

Buddy you need a source or more detail
More specifically when you show
Lavender the survey it will say “shiny Pokémon caught “ and how many you caught. When a shiny Pokémon spawns nearby the game will make a sound notifying that a shiny is nearby
Hope this helped:)
