I’m in joyous tower. I never had intentions on doing the 99 floors; I was just here for recruitment. However, I’m worried what will happen if I “give up”. Are there rest points I can turn back at? Or escape orbs I can pick up? Or is surrendering safe in the sense I can keep my teammates?

Methods to leave Joyous Tower without punishment:
1. Use an Escape Orb. You can pick up Escape Orbs in all floors of the dungeon. In the original games you can also bring Escape Orbs into the dungeon, but this is not possible in the remake.
2. Complete a rescue job in the dungeon and then select the option to leave and confirm it.
3. Compete the dungeon.
There are no rest points in Joyous Tower.
Giving up is treated as fainting and has the same effects, so you will lose your newly recruited allies if you do so.
