I want to teach my Gallade a new move introduced in Scarlet/Violet after Pokemon Bank becomes free to use, but the move is learned at level one and the Gallade is at level 80. Is it possible to teach my Gallade this new move once I transport it into SV, or is it impossible if the Pokemon is too highly-leveled to learn it?

https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Move_Reminder unfortunately doesn't have the answer right now, but it should get updated pretty soon.
Wouldn't it just be available as an option in the Move Relearner in SV as all other level 1 moves are?
I mean the name "Move Relearner" implies that the move was once known by the pokemon, which is not the case with my Gallade. I'm just curious on how moving pokemon from previous gens would work because I'm sure that I'm not the only one wondering about this. There's a lot of new moves in this region and many pokemons' movepools have been expanded.
The Move Relearner *does* list moves that the Pokemon has never known. It simply tracks back through the species' list of level up moves, allowing you to teach any of them. It is almost certain this will be the case for Pokemon transferred into the game.
Thanks Fizz! The explanation really helped :)

You can learn moves that the Pokémon would learn via level up in S/V with the move reminder function regardless of the game that they come from.

There is no disqualifying flag, and I just tested it on my modded console.
