How does trainer/species difference affect breeding with Ditto in HG/SS?

Question

I have been playing Pokemon Soulsilver for a while but I have just started to play around with breeding. I have received the Eevee from Bill and I have caught a Ditto. I am wondering if the trainer difference and species difference affect this pair a lot since I have been running around for a while and the Daycare Man did not say "they like to play with other Pokemon more" or something along those lines.

If your Pokemon are compatible, this is their chance of laying an egg every 256 steps in HGSS.
Different species, same OT: 20%
Both different or both same: 50%
Same species, different OT: 70%
