Will I still be able to trade with myself using local communication in ORAS and XY?

As you probably know, today the 3DS Internet connection is discontinued. But if I have 2 3DS and 2 copies of X/Y or ORAS, can I still trade with myself locally?

Ok for an actual answer, you don't need to connect to the internet to trade locally, so trading with yourself will work.
