For national Dex type of format, does galarian slowbro work?Galarian slowbro has the ability quick draw, and can hold the quick claw. Combine the ability and item and 1/2 of the time slowbro will have priority to negate its abysmal 30 speed. The only flaw is that it only works 1/2 of the time. If you do think this strat will work what other Pokémon will synergize well with this? ( I’m trying a team centralizing on this in a few days.)
Slowbro-Galar is tiered as being in National Dex RU by Smogon's usage-based tiering for National Dex and is NOT ranked in the viability rankings for National Dex. It also does NOT have a Smogon analysis for National Dex. It also is not mentioned in any remotely recent posts in the Viability Rankings or Metagame discussion threads. In conclusion, Slowbro-Galar does NOT have much of a niche in National Dex currently and isn't very good in that format. Note: The Smogon page linked below shows Slowbro-Galar as being in PU, but that is for regular competitive play, not National Dex. EDIT: According to a user on Smogon forums, the reason Slowbro-Galar is not used is because it is outclassed by both Kantonian Slowbro (which can check physical water types like Urshifu-RS and Barraskewda as well as physical ground types thanks to its better bulk and typing) and Slowking-Galar (which can check special attacking fairy-types and has the same defensive typing).
