Is there something wrong here when shiny hunting rayquaza in ultra sun?

Question

I have ultra sun and I have been trying to shiny hunt Rayquaza through the ultra wormholes and so far I have reached 3402 Soft resets and the rayquaza hasn't appeared shiny yet. I'm not sure about it since I have successfully shiny hunted Ho-oh at 166 SR, Raikou at 1412 SR, Mewtwo at 1534 SR, and Groudon at 1108 SR (With the shiny charm btw). Am I missing something, or is it just my bad luck right now?

None of the Ultra Wormhole legendaries are shiny locked, but they don't have increased odds either. This means you got fortunate with your other shinies and you're getting exceptionally unlucky with Rayquaza. Keep at it and you'll find it eventually.

Don't worry about anything further guys, I have finally made my Rayquaza shine after 3583 SR, just now I have caught it and made it learn dragon Ascent too. Also you're right about that, I was just unlucky despite the shiny charm odds, all I needed was a boost to keep going so thanks! Latios will be next so wish me luck.
