Why isn't Riolu evolving despite high friendship?

My first shiny in Pokémon, violet was a Riolo. I am currently trying to evolve it, and it even has the best friends ribbon, yet it still won’t evolve. Does anybody know why this may be? I really want I shiny lucario.

For Riolu to evolve, it must be leveled up with high Friendship during the daytime. Based on your description, you’re either 1) not leveling it up, or 2) trying to level it up at night.
