Answer to Shedinja Lore? [closed]

dont mind this if you dont know. This just pops in my head for some reason, just random curiosity.

I know Shedinja is Nincada’s shell, but has there ever an answer why it came alive? Is it even alive?

This counts as a Game Freak logic question, right? I don't think any NPCs talk about Shedinja, so if this isn't answered by any Pokedex then it's probably not answerable.
