Is there a way to raise dragon types faster?

I am trying to raise a Dragonair that is level 31 to a Dragonite, which is leveled up to 55, in soul sliver. I know I can put it in the day care and raise it in the day care, but I raised it totally in the day care for a long time, and we did not have a great relationship. I want to get a strong bond and trust between us, so I need to train it from battles. However, as everyone know, Dragon type is more difficult to raise than other common types, so is there an item or anything that can make the exp. boost every time it wins a battle?

Coming from a person who has raised a LOT of dragon types, the best way I know of would be to find a Lucky Egg and have no Exp share on any of your other party Pokemon, and go to Victory Road to grind exp, that'd be the fastest way to level up your Dragonair. Now for the friendship, I would recommend giving it a Soothe bell and every day go to the Haircutter in Goldenrod City. and then if you haven't, get a lot of trainers phone numbers to fight them every so often, this is the best way to get friendship
