I have pretty much finished with Legends Arceus, but I just can't beat Volo. He uses 8 level 68-70s, including two of which are Alpha Giratina! And because of LA's battling, you have to lose one of your Pokemon when you knock out one of his, since the party that lost their Pokemon last pretty much always moves first. HOW CAN I WIN???
Some notes:
- I am using the 3 Hisui starters, Garchomp, Luxray and Staraptor. These all have moves that mean they can each 1v1 one of Volo's team, but I lose too many of them before Giratina. I am willing to swap maybe 2 or 3 of them for better ones, so you can give suggestions on that.
- I am using items.
- I can grind to level them up, but I'd rather only do it as a last resort.

Keep Luxray alive with Crunch, Wild Charge (or Thunder Fang if recoil is a concern), and Play Rough. With high Attack, Luxray will be used against Spiritomb, Togekiss, and Giratina (though Samurott can also be used here).

Use Typhlosion against both Roserade and Lucario (watch out for Agile Style Crunch).

Use Samurott on Arcanine, as Water is 4× effective.

Use a fast Garchomp with Strong Style only against Cynthia’s Garchomp if Togekiss is already down, since you'll lose a turn—but if Garchomp is the last Pokémon, there’s no risk.

For Giratina, start with Typhlosion to knock out or chip away at Altered Forme, then go all-out on Origin Forme. Remember: status effects are removed when Giratina changes form, but stat changes are retained—so use moves like Baby-Doll Eyes with Luxray or other debuff moves to weaken it. Be mindful of its moveset.

The problem is that when I beat Spiritomb with Luxray, Garchomp just oneshots with strongstyle Earth Power, and the only two that have usable poison and steel moves are Garchomp and Samurott, so Togekiss sweeps through.
have you used the grit items? You can get many very easily by releasing pokemon and they increase your stats
what effort value does luxray's sp.def need to be to survive? its about lv.76
never mind, I just trained up to lv79 and took down three with garchomp
you just bring in an over leveled goodra with a steel move, a fire move, and a dragon move.
You can also use status effects and/or a tanky pokemon to stall and heal up your team
