How do you obtain the leftovers held item in Pokémon S/V?

So, there's no location data. I think I might've heard you get it from some sort of quest, but I know absolutely nothing beyond that. Where? What do you have to do? How do you do it? What are the chances? how many can you get?

I want to make my entire favorite competitive team from showdown in violet, in case you were wondering.
