PokéBase - Pokémon Q&A

For context, I have two Switch consoles — a lite that I currently lending to someone, and a regular Switch that is currently my primary console. The person I am lending it to also has my copy of Shield, and he wants to be able to access the DLC, so I will have to change my lite to my primary console.

To my understanding, the DLCs work like any other digital Switch game — to access it on the accounts you did not purchase it on, your Switch needs to be set as the primary console.

Here is where I am having a bit of trouble. I have recently been getting back into Pokemon, and I would like to play Violet again, not on my main Switch account, which I have as a digital copy. The person I am lending my lite to only wants to obtain two Pokemon in the DLC, but I want to give him a chance to clear more of the content.

So, here are my actual questions :
— If you have already accessed areas to fly to in the DLC, and the primary console is changed, will those areas become inaccessible?
— What would happen if you were already in the Crown Tundra or Isle of Armor and the primary console was changed ( unless it kicks you out of the game, which I am not sure of because I cannot test it at the moment )?

You remain in the DLC areas until you fly out of them, and once you fly back to the base game, you can no longer fly to the DLC areas until you purchase the DLC again (or if the account is on your primary switch, I'm assuming).

However it's been a while so I forgot if you can fly to the DLC areas while you are already in the DLC.
so you could theoretically continue to play through the dlc?
Most likely, but I don't know for certain.
Outside of the question, wouldn't the new digital game card feature of the switches allow you to send their account the DLC for a temporary time?

Also, I tested this like 5 years ago with Swsh and Botw, yes the areas become inaccessible which is bizarre, and I'm 99% sure that if your in one and change the primary console or wtvr, you spawn back outside your house in Postwick
