How do Z-Moves work with the Ability Technician?

My alolan persian has snarl and techinician . Will techician work if I use dark type Z-Move ? I think no but just asking if it does work :)

So technician does not work for z-moves. Since snarl now becomes black hole eclipse, it has 100 base power. The move must be under 60 base power for technician to take effect. I recommend getting rid of Darkinium-z and replacing it with a dread plate. if you want to keep Persian alive longer, I would go with a focus sash.
