I always have a fight with my friends about the plural of the word Pokémon, I myself say Pokémon is the plural but some of my friends say Pokémons and others say Pokémonnen (makes sense in Dutch).

So what is it?

The plural of Pokémon is Pokémon

Wikipedia even has a paragraph explaining this on the page for Pokémon.
If you're curious about why, this Reddit comment suggests that it's because Pokémon is an abbreviation of "pocket monsters," which is already plural. I would argue, however, that the singular and plural of Pokémon was decided to be the same because that's what the creators of the franchise wanted. It may also be a branding/trademark thing, similarly to how Lego insists that their product is written in the uppercase and is not pluralized with an S, instead being plurally referred to as "LEGO bricks."

The plural of Pokémon is Pokeymans, obviously. What are you even thinking?

It’s Pokemon.

I don’t want to explain English, since I don’t understand it myself, but here’s some examples that could be used:
“Wow! There’s so many Pokemon”
“You can only carry 6 Pokemon with you at a time”
“Wild Pokemon hide in the tall grass. You need a Pokemon with you for your protection.”
