Aliens, not necessarily Pokemon, but aliens
(from other dimensions)
Aliens don’t have to be from space just not from earth
technically the term alien is correct, but popular science fiction usage of the term alien heavily implies something only being from space, so I think it's really important that the distinction be made that they're not just extraterrestrial, but extradimensional as well. Simply referring to them as "alien" conflates them with Deoxys and other alien Pokemon, as I explained in my answer.

Ultra Beasts [...], are a group of extradimensional Pokémon originating from Ultra Space by assistance of an Ultra Wormhole.
- Bulbapedia's page on Ultra Beasts

Ultra Beasts come from alternate dimensions, which, as stated in the quote from Bulbapedia, makes them extradimensional, rather than aliens. The name "Ultra Space" may imply that they are aliens, though they are not in the typical little green man from Mars sort of way, as Pokemon like Deoxys are - from my understanding, Ultra Space is less a place and more of a conduit that connects the Pokemon world to each of the dimensions the Ultra Beasts come from. Yes, they are extraterrestrial in the sense that they aren't from Earth, though the distinction that they're from another dimension is important in differentiating that they aren't simply alien Pokemon.

Note that there are other extradimensional Pokemon, which makes it important that the distinction that Ultra Beasts are from Ultra Space be made. It's also worth nothing that Cosmog, Cosmoem, Solgaleo, Lunala, and Necrozma are all connected to Ultra Space, though what dimension they're actually from is unknown, and they are not usually considered Ultra Beasts. For more information regarding this, (and my source) this Bulbapedia article about extraterrestrial Pokemon is quite informative.

I was here first and my answer is better, +1
i was hoping you'd edit your answer to the tune of the comment i made on it but you seemed to completely ignore it
deoxys is a little green man
deoxys is alien, mew is not.
What do you not understand?
i only mentioned mew in my comment on your answer because you listed it as an alien pokemon, which i took your word for because i didn't want to look very far into it... why are you getting hung up on a minor detail that doesn't really have to do with the subject matter?
what do you not understand?

Ultra Beast are alien Pokemon.
I don't play sun/moon but they represent invasive species of oceania but in the Pokemon universe they are alien Pokemon (coming from worm holes and their dex entries state they are common where they live) - and they are not the only alien Pokemon like deoxys so in conclusion hey are invasive alien Pokemon
(but still Pokemon)

Curious where you got the bit about Oceania from
Ultra bests are extradimensionsal. Technically alien, yes, but your connection to them with mew and deoxys implies that they come from other planets/space, which isnt really true to my understanding.
yeah i am smart naganadel is a paper wasp, buzzwole is a mantis, and guzzlord represents destruction of the natrual habitat.
alright thank you.
Yeah but still they are not from other planets they are from other universes so not at all like deoxys or mew
but deoxys is alien
