Can you get Pokerus from SOS battles?

I was confused that I wasn't getting it because I thought Pokerus was generated from battling different wild Pokemon, but that's wrong. Since it's generated after a battle ends, not by just defeating a Pokemon, that explains why I haven't gotten Pokerus yet, as the different spawns in SOS battles don't count as many battles, just one.

Even still I could've just been getting unlucky anyways. Regardless, thanks, Stoutland Fan!

I think based on this, the answer would be yes, but Pokerus doesn't work how I thought it did, and it's generated after the battle ends, not something you can necessarily get from each wild Pokemon you battle. Am I wrong?
