What is a good moveset for Sudowoodo?

Mine has the ability Rock Head. It knows:

Wood Hammer: No recoil with Rock Head, high power, high accuracy, used to deal with Water and Ground types.

Fire Punch: Decent damage, chance to burn, high accuracy, used to deal with Grass and Steel types.

Hammer Arm: High damage, decent accuracy, used to deal with Steel types, Sudowoodo's Speed is very low, so a decrease in Speed won't be that bad.

Faint Attack: Decent damage, doesn't miss.

Maybe replace faint attack with double edge. It has higher power, and no recoil.

Excellent except, maybe instead of Faint Attack, Make even more use of that rock Head with Double Edge and then your great!!

EDIT: oh you got to be kidding me, I answered this 10 seconds after Dark Typhlosion and never saw his answer b4 I answered. Well, now at least you can be sure of getting double Edge!

Sudowoodo (M) @ Leftovers/Chesto Berry
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 60 Def / 196 SAtk
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Calm Mind
- Hidden Power [Rock]
- Earth Power
- Rest

LMAO. This set is hilarious. Calm Mind boosts his mind-blowing special attack to unimaginable levels, and also helps fix his weaker Special Defense, because his Defense is already great. Hidden Power Rock is this monster's STAB move of choice, striking down all who don't resist it with a single blow. Together with Earth Power, it makes the Edge-Quake combination, which gets fantastic coverage, allowing this beast to be prepared for any foe. Finally, when he becomes weary, he can Rest off all of the damage and continue to wreak havoc.

(why does he even learn calm mind? lololololololol)

Special Sudowoodo? Just sweeped a team with it xD
shouldnt you give him chesto berry since you wont him to be able to get back into the game
Good idea, although I hoped he'd be able to live through the 2-3 turns of sleep. I'll put it as an option.

Name: Sudowoodo

Mine Knows

Stone Edge - STAB move, high chance for critical hit

Fire Punch - Used to deal with Steel

Sudowoodo@Assault Vest
Nature: Adamant
Ability: Rock Head
EVs: 252 attack, 100 def, 158 sp.def
Moveset:
Wood Hammer
Hammer Arm/Power-Up Punch
Stone Edge
Explosion/Earthquake

With Wood Hammer, you receive no recoil due to rock head. It covers it's Water and Ground weaknesses. Hammer Arm or Power-Up Punch if you want full power or a boost in attack. It also covers it's Steel weakness. Stone Edge is for coverage and STAB. Finally, Explosion is for a last resort, or you can get further coverage with Earthquake. It's only problem is now Grass, which is what FirePunch could be used for, but Sudowoodo can't learn it in X/Y.

Sudowoodo
Rock Type
Ability: Sturdy
Nature: Sassy or Brave
Item: Custap Berry / Assault Vest
EVs: 240Atk/ 50 Def/ 220 SpDef
Move set
Flail / Sucker Punch
Block / Rock Tomb
Counter
Stealth Rock/ Stone Edge

Does anybody remember the dancing tree of Goldenrod City? It was a strange encounter with a dancing tree that turned out to be a Sudowoodo. Ive always liked Sudowoodo's strange design. Let's talk about it. Sudowoodo is held back by its Speed and Special stats, but it makes up for these by being rather Defensive. It also has Sturdy, which will prevent OHKOs with 1 HP. By using Custap Berry, you gain priority on your next move when in a pinch. Flail is powered up to BP 200 when Sudowoodo is in this state. It doesn't guarantee OHKO or 2HKO, but it does provide neutral coverage and benefits from Ability. Block is used to trap physical attackers. When possible, Sudowoodo should be matching up to phys attackers so it can make use of its best move: Counter. Sturdy prevents OHKO from Fighting or Ground type moves, and it will Counter for 2x damage. Lastly, Stealth Rock rounds out the set, which means that you can either open with S. Rock or close with it after eating a Custap Berry.
Another set I thought was decent was the Assault Vest set, which gives Sudowoodo survivability to Special moves at the cost of favored Status moves. Counter remains a staple on the set, while Rock Tomb fills the space for Block, Stone Edge replaces Stealth Rock. Flail could still be usable on this set, however, Sucker Punch will give Sudowoodo much needed priority in place of Custap Berry.
Obviously, Special Attackers, especially Water types, frighten Sudowoodo out, but overall, Sudowoodo has an interesting place on any Defensive team looking for a wild card like the Imitation Pokemon.

Instead of Feint Attack I would replace it with Sucker Punch, has a higher attack damage and is a better Dark-type move overall, not to mention it is a priority move, Sudowoodo is extremely slow so having a priority move on him is a wise choice. Sure, double-edge has a high attack damage, but Normal moves aren't quite as useful as other types of moves, for obvious reasons (since it's not super effective against anything). I suppose if you want to take advantage of rock-head, double-edge is decent. Just some advice, or if you're running a sturdy set, doesn't matter.

Sudowoodo: Adamant (+Attack, -special Attack): Rock head
@Hard Stone
Head smash: 225 base damage with stab, no recoil because of rock head ability
Wood hammer: No recoil because of ability, covers ground and water type weaknesses
Fire punch: Covers Steel and grass weaknesses
Double edge/brick break: more type coverage with brick break, double edge is another powerful attack.
