Mine is EV trained in Sp. Attack. It knows:

Ice Beam: Good power, high accuracy, chance to Freeze, used to deal with Ground types.

Shadow Ball: Good power, high accuracy, decent chance to lower Sp. Def, used to deal with Psychic types.

Sludge Bomb: Good power, high accuracy, good chance to poison, STAB.

Gastro Acid: Eliminates foes abilities.

Ice Beam\Giga Drain-Ice Beam for a chance to freeze and high accuracy,Giga Drain for good healing. Both will deal with ground types.

Toxic-What did you think?! NOTHING is as annoying as Bad Poison.

Shadow Ball-Good Power,High Accuracy and will deal with Psychic types.Keep it!

Gunk Shot-High Power, may I suggest some PP ups?

How about giga Drain for good healing. Gastro acid isnt that strong, maybe replace that for giga drain.

you realize Gastro Acid isnt an attack move to begin with, so its not really strong, its just strategically better in some ways. i do agree though giga drain is a good move for it

Swalot @ Black Sludge

Trait: Liquid Ooze

EVs: 192 HP / 64 Atk / 252 SpA

Quiet Nature (+SpA, -Spe)

  • Sludge Bomb/Sludge Wave
  • Ice Beam
  • Giga Drain
  • Earthquake

Sludge Bomb is STAB and has a nice chance to poison the opponent, and therefore is the preffered option. If you want, Sludge Wave has 5 more base power, but usually isn't worth it unless you're after some specific KOs.
Ice Beam hits Ground type switch ins and has good coverage.
Giga Drain is healing and come coverage.
Earthquake rounds out the coverage by hitting Steel types.

Good set, Maybe switch gastro acid for toxic.

I like Toxic, but is it the best choice with Sludge Bomb having a 30% chance of Poisoning the foe?
Good point. in that case, I would keep GA.
swamparts suggestion is good even though you still have ice beam you can steal health back so its better in tha long run(unless your up against shedninja then i dunno swap out maby)

Role:Annoying stall

Ability: liquid ooze

EVs: 252def, 252spdef, 4hp

Nature: Bold

Item: Black sludge

stockpile: Raises attack and defense by one stage but can only be used 3 times.

Toxic: Badly poison your opponent........nuff said.

venom drench: lowers your opponents attack, special attack, and speed by 1 stage if it is poisoned.

Infestation/protect/giga drain/encore: Alot of options for the last slot. infestation if you wanna trap your opponent and deal damage each turn, protect if you wanna heal a little more hp without taking a hit, Giga drain for restoring some hp from your foe, or encore to make your opponent repeat the same move (good for stalling)

The mastermind in me has decided to give Swalot yet another annoying moveset.

[email protected] Leftovers
Ability: Sticky Hold
Nature: Impish
EV's: 252 Def, 252 SDef, 4 HP

Amnesia: Raises Special defense 2 stages
Acid Armor: Raises defense 2 stages
Toxic: Stalling Pokemon need toxic to function properly
Giga Drain/Yawn: Decent power and heals your health or put opponent to sleep

The reason I'm using Amnesia and acid armor because using each move once is the same as using stockpile, but you can only use stockpile 3 times. You can max this guys defenses pretty well depending on the opponents lead Pokemon. Then move onto toxic and yawn to continue the stall or start using giga drain to slowly regain health and drain your opponent's. If the opponent switches to a poison or steel type, then you can just switch out yourself , and send Swalot again because it only takes 3 amnesia's or 3 acid armors to max out defenses again.

enter image description here suicide lead set

Gulpin @ Focus Sash
Ability: Sticky Hold
EVs: 196 HP / 12 Atk / 196 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Yawn
- Destiny Bond
- Explosion
- Encore
Summary:This set is pretty annoying if used correctly and if you can predict and outwit your opponent. Focus sash is to help Gulpin survive from a move that would ohko him. First you should set up a destiny bond, if you decide to go for a yawn next, it can put your opponent at a huge disadvantage. As your opponent either has two options. Either switch out, or stay in. Its a win win situation for you either way. If your opponent's Pokemon stays in and decides to faint Gulpin, then destiny bond will activate fainting that Pokemon in the process. If your opponent's Pokemon decides to stay in and set up a swords dance or any other set up, then gulpin can either encore or explode, depending on the situation and Pokemon. If your opponent decides to switch however (and you predict the switch) you can yawn or explode.

Held Item: Black Sludge
Ability: Liquid Ooze
Nature: Quiet (+Special Attack, -Speed)
EVs: 102 HP, 102 Defense, 102 Special Attack, 102 Special Defense, 102 Speed

  • Sludge Bomb
  • Ice Beam
  • Stockpile
  • Swallow

There's too many recommendations for maxing out one or two specific stat, and Swalot is perfect example to spread EVs between all the stats, leaving the sixth unused one without training (in this case, the Attack stat beacuse there's no physical move in this set). In the first three round, try to set up with Stockpile, then attack. Sludge Bomb is a great STAB move with its 30% poisoning chance, while Ice Beam widely covers a few types (especially the supereffective Ground and the powerful Dragons). With the power of Liquid Ooze and Black Sludge, it won't be easy to take you out. In case of emergency, use Swallow to restore your HP. Maybe you'll lose the drastically raised Defense and Special Defense, but something for something. :D
