Actually my least favorite of the human helper trio or whatever they are called. Unlike my Uxie, mine is EV trained in Sp. Attack. Mine does however have low defense. It knows:

Psychic: STAB, good power, high accuracy, chance to lower Sp. Def.

Signal Beam: Decent power, chance to confuse, high accuracy, used to deal with Dark weakness.

Shadow Ball: Good power, high accuracy, decent chance to lower Sp. Def, deals with Ghost type weakness.

Charm: Used to compensate for my Mesprit's lower defensive stat. Also is good otherwise.

Psychic-Good power, STAb

Signal beam-like you said

shadow ball-like you said

Refelct-I think refelct will do better because people switch out so much in battles, stat lowering moves don't work very well when used on their opponent, you could use it to get a free switch out of them, but it's very difficult to predict when they would switch.

Item: leftovers
Ability: Levitate
Nature: Timid
EVs: 252 S.Attack, 252 Speed, 6 Hp

Charge-beam Boosts Special Attack and provides decent coverage. Psyshock is STAB. Shadow-ball is for coverage over Ghosts and other Psychics while Ice-beam would be to make a mini-bolt beam combo. HP(Fighting) more coverage.

Psychic is better so i would choose that over Psyshock but awesome set:)
i would also replace charge beam with thunderbolt

Note: Mesprit's Attack and Sp. Attack are equal

Mesprit @Spelon Berry
Nature: Adamant
EV's: 100HP/ 152 ATK/ 252 SPD

-Natural Gift
-Zen Headbutt
-Iron Tail

Everyone overlooks Mesprit's high Attack potential which can be used to your advantage. Contrary to popular belief, Natural Gift is a physical attack. The Spelon Berry turns it into a Dark type move with 90 base power to deal with Ghost types (an Iapapa berry works the same). After Using, Acrobatics is now at double power and will also counter any Bug types. The last 2 moves are self-explanatory, with Zen Headbutt having a chance to cause Flinch with Mesprit's maximised Speed, and Iron Tail good for lowering Defense.

I have an Adamant Mesprit too, and this helped a lot moveset-wise! Thanks!

Role: Lead/Support
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 200 HP/ 252 Sp. Atk / 56 Speed
- Stealth Rock
- Healing Wish
- Psychic / Psyshock
- Energy Ball / Ice Beam / Thunderbolt / Reflect

Mespirit can easily set up Stealth Rock. If your team members are low on HP, just use Healing Wish and switch into that Poke. Psychic and Psyshock is great STAB. Energy Ball / Ice Beam / Thunderbolt is coverage. Reflect is another support move.
