Why did my Regirock get frozen and thawed out immediately?

I was battling on Showdown; my Regirock got frozen, and thawed out immediately. Why? Rock Slide doesn't thaw...

This was just a coincidence, Rock Slide didn't thaw you out, that was just you getting thawed the same turn you got frozen. It is completely by chance.

Yup, the chance of thawing the same turn you were frozen is not small, so it's not an uncommon occurrence.
