Is Volcarona A Good Lead?

Just Wondering as I may be using him in my new team :) (sorry for asking on battle subway earlier)

Well... not really. It CAN lead, but if you think about it, there are much better leads. Some examples being:

Forretress @ Leftovers / Occa Berry
Nature: Impish
Evs: 252 Hp, 252 Def, 4 Sp. Def
Trait: Sturdy
Moves: Rapid Spin, Payback / Volt Switch, Spikes/Toxic Spikes, Stealth Rock

Tyranitar @ leftovers
Nature: Impish
EVs: 252 Atk, 252 Def, 4 HP
Trait: Sand Stream
Moves: Stealth Rock, Curse, Stone Edge, Crunch
