Why is there no search bar in the mobile version of the website?

There may be something wrong. I'm answering this question on the mobile version (at least I should be). And there is a search bar. Maybe it's just your phone?

I have the same issue.  Using Samsung Galaxy Nexus on Android 4.2.2 and the default browser does not have a search bar anywhere on the mobile site.  To make things worse, I tried the option to request the desktop site and it wouldn't give it to me.

I have LG Nexus 4 Android 4.3 In In Android 4.3also have no search bar  I have tried several other browsers such as Chrome Firefox and others.

It's hidden on mobile because it didn't fit.

I'm gonna make some changes soon and hopefully add it back.
