I think there might be an error

I had my brother ABC123 was recently caught spam upvoting me. Ninja had him go back and Un-upvote everything. Now when he was doing this it gave him an error message saying, "Too many upvotes received, try again in a hour." I can understand if he was upvoting, but he was deleteing all his upvotes! I think this may be a glitch in this system.

Actually since you're click the same button on a question to "un-upvote" as you would to upvote it would kind of make sense that you're limited to clicking the same button.

It's not really a glitch exactly, it's just that the message isn't very clear. All voting actions - upvoting, downvoting or removing votes - are counted towards your voting total.
