Question without knowing its already asked?

I wrote the title of this question (What does N's name stand for) and in the thing that shows questions that are similar to mine there weren't any and so i posted it and i got 3 flags from it. The heck?

Sometimes even if there is a same/similar question already it will not show, especially if the wording was different. So even if you didn't know, there was already a similar question(Here),so it was flagged. This is one reason you may want to do a quick search yourself before posting a question.
So basically, don't always expect the yellow box to be accurate.
Also, don't create a new thread just because your post was hidden. First, check to see that it wasn't asked already. Then, if you still don't know why it was hidden, read the rules. If you still can't find the reason your post was hidden then post an answer on this page.

Also, when the site tries attempts to see which questions are similar, I believe it takes into account tags.

I thought so too, but the results appear before selecting tags and I just tried it and it doesn't seem to affect the results.
