What was the joke, was there a joke?
No official joke was done by Pokemaster. The main problem is his inactivity due to having stuff going on outside the Database (reminder that this site is just a passion project for him). I would imagine another problem would be that it is difficult to come up with good jokes each year. Other Pokemon sites have trouble maintaining good jokes, and they tend to just copy off other Pokemon sites. You rarely get something good like the Stunfisk invasion of 2011. Even I was unable to come up with a prank this year, while in the past I've gone to a fair bit of effort to prank everybody. :(

That was the joke, by Once (hotcakes). Poke'Slash tried to resurrect her Will dying joke but it kinda...well, died.
