Weird problem with the Showdown! server?

Question

When I first join, the chat appears as a blank white rectangle. I can type stuff, but I can't enter it. In order to see other users and chat, I have to close the lobby and reopen it. Is this supposed to happen?

not saying you should hide the post, just saying that the problem was addressed on here before

As people in the comments said, its a problem because of the server code we currently use.

Once PM has the time and is able to refresh the server, that problem should disappear.

Until then, sorry for the inconvenience.
