When will the PS! server for PokemonDB be reset?

Question

I get Ninja is not around much, but apart from periodic bursts of semi-humorous chat, it's not really serving a function. Not that it should, but the Bot we had for Random Battle no longer exists, and the server hasn't been updated with the oncoming of Sun/Moon.

That's something I think might be changed with a server update. I might be wrong, of course, but meh.

So: PM, do you still focus on the psim server, (or any mod, for the matter), or has it been left to rot? (Except of course, when JarJar, SoFA, Flaf, CWegz come on, but that's about it).

I see the server as the chatroom, except more dead. I hope something will be done about it.

What I want to know is how the server was different when there were people actually using it (what tournaments they held, what the coin system was, etc).

Man, I forgot about the coin system or whatever completely. Don't think it was ever working properly, know for sure it was bugged for a long time at least. But yeah the server is dead and sucks now, it doesn't even matter if it's restarted or not. Way more people used to come on

Maybe if it is reset and doesn't suck, people will be motivated to come. It sucks for some new guy to come, only to see he/she  can't chat because it's set to Mod Chat. Not that it's PM's fault, nor that a server update would change that, but at least he/she can still hang around. Besides, I think an update would require having to reassign mods and voices, so people who are more active can be selected. I think. No sure at all, though.
