Meta-PokéBase Q&A

So I am on an iPhone 5C which I use purely for answering on PokeBase and browsing the internet and I noticed that in the answers page, people add photos such as a Golisopod or a Kingdra. How do I do this please? I just want to add my lovely shiny Mismagius to her moveset page. Thanks!

PS. This question has been asked before but i can't do Ctrl+G on a phone XD

When asking or answering a question, there should be little icons (shown below) above the box that you're typing in. The icon to add an image is the one with a red box around it. Tap it, and a little thing should pop up, where you paste the image URL.

Make sure that it is the image URL, and not a link to the website that the image is on! If it isn't the URL that, when opened, is just the image, it will not work! The URL to the image most commonly end in .jpg, .png, or .gif.

If that icon doesn't show up, you can manually type it out.
Where you want your image to go, type ![image description][1].
Below that, (anywhere on the page should work, but at the bottom of the answer works best, as it helps avoid clutter) type [1]: [image url].
If you want to add multiple images, change the number in the brackets to 2 for your second image, 3 for your third, and so on.
If you need any further explaining, please comment! I'll try to help out as much as I can!

Also, you can try these formats; I find them easy to type out myself.
1. ![description of image here](link to image here)
2. image

You can also use ![description of image here](link to image here) and <img src=“link to image here”/>. I haven't personally tried them, but they seem a lot easier to manually type out. Thanks for pointing that out, Fizz!
