I've always pondered this question. The conclusion I always came too is that it either its blank, or it just plainly doesn't exist due to the fact it only creates itself when a user loads the page. I believe thats how websites work.

The question doesn’t really make sense, because if no one is viewing the page it doesn’t exist.

But if you could view the page without showing up as online, it would look the same, just without your name there.

You of all folks are most likely able to enter the chatbox, with all your admin powers. Can you please try to trick your own site and maybe screen cap it for the curious? You don't have to if you can't, but if anyone could, it'd be you. Go the extra distance if you're bored enough to figure out how?
