Suggestion: Trading Thread

Question

Many new users come to the chat room and try to find someone to trade with. However that requires people to be online for a pretty long time before finding someone. I'm not sure how popular trading is on this website, but what I am suggesting is a thread dedicated to trading where users could post what they are looking for and what they are offering.

Example:
Looking for: Charmander
Offering: Treecko or Torchic

(Or something like that)

I'm not too sure about how much this is needed, but it could make it easier for those interested in trading.

PS: I found this post, but that was 6 years ago. Can I bring this up again or will the answer be the same? Maybe something like this could get new users more involved in the site.

A really long time ago, we used to have one big thread for topics like FCs and trades. But they got so long they'd fail to load half the time. Might be an issue with the platform to begin with, though this was years ago and Q2A is probably better with that now.
I think you'll get the 'wait for the forum' response, though it would be cool to have something like this. Chat isn't active enough for it to be a solution either.

1. We're getting a forum, where we can do that easily anyway
2. We can easily use the chat and our walls

Yes if discord is happening we could just have a chat room for trading.
