Why am I unable to edit answers mods edited?

An expeeeert edited one of my answers and now I can't edit it.

which question is it? you are always able to edit your own content even if someone else has edited it. Also, Experts aren't auth, they can't hide or lock questions or anything like that.

There’s still the problem that the editing function was disabled at all. I’ve never heard of that, so I’m interested if Pokemaster can lend any insight.

What exactly do you mean by "unable to edit"? Was the edit button missing? Or was it there but an error came up when you clicked it?
