Do Showdown chat locks affect the onsite chat here?

If I get locked from talking on the Pokemon Showdown server (not that I plan on that, but it did happen once), will I also be prohibited from talking in the chat here?

No, there’s nothing that connects the chat on our Showdown server to the chat on the site. Getting locked or kicked on one doesn’t affect the other.
